Having completed her undergraduate studies at Galatasaray University in the field of international relations, her master's degree in the field of European Union regional policies from the Belgian Catholic Louvain University with honor’s degree and his doctorate in European Union politics from Marmara University’s European Union Institute, Menekşe Tokyay has been working for national and international news agencies since 2010 with her interviews, news analyses and op-eds. Her areas of expertise include EU politics, the Middle East, children's rights, women's rights, education policies and social policies. She translated many books from French and English into Turkish.
