Born into a musical family, Şakir grew up with classical music as a natural part of her world. Her journey as a pianist began at the age of five, under the guidance of Prof. Eser Bilgeman. Having also learned the violin and guitar, Şakir performed with the Robert College Orchestra and appeared on stage at numerous festivals and concerts, including prestigious venues such as Zorlu PSM. She has received many national and international music awards and has also earned prizes in poetry and essay categories in various district-level writing competitions. Placing her passion for classical music at the center of her life, Şakir closely follows concerts both in Turkey and abroad. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Andante family, conducting interviews with distinguished artists and writing research-based articles on topics aligned with her interests.
